Trusted local contacts in Marrakech: doctor, tradespeople, mechanic, administration
When you arrive you have no word of mouth. We share a few contacts we know, and call with you when the language gets in the way.

Once the paperwork is done, the real question becomes: who do I call? A plumber who answers, a doctor who takes new patients, a mechanic who does not triple the bill because of your accent, a bank branch where someone speaks your language. In Marrakech, as everywhere, this runs on word of mouth, and when you have just arrived, you have none.
So we lend you ours.

What this is, and what it is not
These are a few contacts we know and pass on, with what we know about them: what they do well, what they do less well, their real hours, the language they speak. It is not a paid directory, not a ranking and not a guarantee: we are not responsible for a third party's work, and we will tell you when we have nobody reliable to suggest for a given need.
How it works
- You describe the need on WhatsApp: "a leak on the third floor", "a paediatrician in Guéliz".
- We give you one or two contacts, with what you should know before calling.
- If needed we call with you or translate, many tradespeople speak only Arabic or Darija.
- We stay reachable if it goes wrong.

FAQ
How do I find a reliable tradesperson in Marrakech?
Through neighbourhood word of mouth, almost never through an advert. That is exactly what newcomers lack: we pass on a few contacts we know, with what you should know before calling.
Is the address book a paid directory?
No. These are contacts shared as part of the support, with an honest view of what they do well and less well. We sell no listings and we do not guarantee a third party's work.
What if the tradesperson speaks no English or French?
We call with you or translate: many tradespeople in Marrakech speak only Arabic or Darija. That alone often unblocks a job that had been dragging.
Do you also point to the right administrative office?
Yes: which branch, which desk, the real opening hours and where to start, whether it is the prefecture, the water and electricity utility or a bank.
