Moving to MarrakechSomeone with you at the counter.
We work out the exact document list, check everything before you go, and queue with you. In French, Arabic, Darija and English.
Private service, not a government office

Six tasks. Not one more.
In Marrakech, paperwork rarely happens online. It happens at a counter: the right office, the right hours, the right documents and the right number of photocopies. We go with you.
- REF 01
Residence permit
Applying for and renewing the Moroccan residence card at the foreigners' desk of the police prefecture.
- REF 02
Sworn translation
Marriage certificates, birth certificates, diplomas: sworn translator and legalisation.
- REF 03
Water & electricity
RADEEMA account opening, meter connection, name change, closing an account, disputed bills.
- REF 04
Finding a home
Long-term rentals: shortlisting, viewings with you or filmed, reading the lease before you sign.
- REF 05
School enrolment
French, private or public schools: choosing, preparing the file, translations, submitting.
- REF 06
Local address book
Doctor, plumber, mechanic, bank, administration, contacts we actually use.
Quote on request for every task. Official costs are yours and listed separately.
The order that works
- Schools first, if you have children. The school decides which district you should live in, and places are taken months ahead: school enrolment in Marrakech.
- Housing. District, budget, and a lease read before you sign it: finding a home in Marrakech.
- Water and electricity in your name. It also gives you a solid proof of address: RADEEMA utilities.
- Translations. Marriage and birth certificates, diplomas, the usual bottleneck: sworn translation.
- The residence permit. With an address, proof of income and translated certificates, the file holds together: residence permit in Marrakech.
- Daily life. Doctor, plumber, mechanic, bank: local address book.
What to expect at the counter
- Opening hours are not what the internet says. Many counters close early and do not reopen in the afternoon.
- The language. Signage is often in Arabic and the conversation happens in Darija. We translate.
- Photocopies. One missing copy means another trip. We prepare the pack in advance.
- Requirements change. A document list from a 2021 forum post will send you to the wrong desk. We check before every trip.
What we do not do
We are not an estate agency, a lawyer, a notary, a customs broker or an accountant.
We handle
- Residence permit and prefecture
- Sworn translation of certificates
- RADEEMA (SRM), housing, schools, local contacts
- At the counter: French, Arabic, Darija
We don't
- Inheritance, buying or selling property
- Company formation, tax
- Vehicle customs clearance, CNSS
- No promise of any administrative decision
Not a residence card, not a school place. What we bring is a complete file, submitted at the right desk at the right time, with someone standing next to you.
Describe what you need
One question per screen, phone number last. At the end the WhatsApp message is already written: you just press Send.
You had started a request.
Where should we reply?
Your message is ready in WhatsApp
All that's left is to press Send in WhatsApp. If nothing opened, use the buttons below.
This isn't something we handle
We'd rather tell you straight away: we only help with on-the-ground procedures in Marrakech (residence permit, document translation, RADEEMA, rentals, schools, local contacts).
If your project also involves a document translation or a RADEEMA visit, we can take care of that.
FAQ
What paperwork do I need when moving to Marrakech?
In the order that works: schools if you have children, then housing, then water and electricity in your name, then translations of your certificates, then the residence permit. Everyday contacts such as a doctor or a plumber come afterwards.
Do I need a residence permit to live in Marrakech?
Yes. A foreigner staying in Morocco for more than three months must apply for a registration card at the foreigners' desk of the police prefecture. The file depends on your grounds for staying: work, retirement, marriage to a Moroccan citizen, or studies.
How much does your support cost?
Quote on request: it depends on the task, your situation and the number of trips needed, and it is agreed before we start. Official costs such as stamps, fees and sworn translations are yours to pay and are listed separately.
Can I prepare everything before I arrive?
Largely yes: school applications, a shortlist of rentals with filmed viewings, and the list of documents to have translated. The counter visits happen once you are here, with us alongside.
Which languages do you work in?
English, French, Arabic and Darija. That matters most at the counter, where the conversation is rarely in English.
